Ultrasound Diagnostics (Ultrasonographia, echographia)
Ultrasound using the latest generation of equipment is used in the majority of treatment-diagnostic programmes at the clinic. The highly sensitive equipment allows us to check the fine detail of morphological changes in the structure of the body’s organs and to enlarge on the information provided by the DCM cellular metabolism diagnostics. On a happier note it can also be used to check the sex of a baby at an early stage of pregnancy.
Our doctors are highly trained specialists in ultrasound diagnostics who have wide clinical experience and skills. (Doctors)
Ultrasound is used for a wide number of diagnostics, including the chest, urinary system, endocrine system, heart, breasts and other areas. As a safe, tried and tested method, it is widely used during diagnostics and treatment at the clinic. It is useful also as a check on other diagnostic methodologies. The new generation of scanners can store information in 3D and can provide additional information to the doctor, not by a change in the way that the scanner views the body, but by the use of more sophisticated computer programming which analyses the results. These results are retained in our system to be used for comparative purposes at follow-up checks.
Our call centre will advise you when you make an appointment whether any special preparation should be made before you arrive – for example, it may be important not to eat breakfast on the morning of your visit.
